The late nights and early mornings are over for now, and the introspective self-criticism can finally set in unabated, hehe...I'm fairly pleased with my results, but if there's anything a finished project can teach me it's that I have so much yet to learn. Some days you wake up, look at what you've worked for what seems like forever on, and go "This could be so much better. Dammit." But i definitely feel like I've exceeded my previous efforts, and that's what's important.
So now I have a bunch of commissions to address, but not before I go sweating my way down to Kansas City for my good friend Ben's wedding reception. It's bloody hot out, and the middle of the country is good for 10 or 15 degrees hotter. Plus it's 10 hours away, so lots of red-hot punishment for my little car is in store. But Ben got married in an even more sweltering climate, i.e. Mexico, so who am I to complain? It'll be good to see old friends again anyway, heaven or hell.
Proving that God and doctors have immaculate timing, I received some info rich with bastardry the other day, when I was informed by my doctor's office that I can't drink alcohol for several weeks. Well, i CAN, but i shouldn't. Oh, this'll be a FUN wedding, no? (Don't worry, i'm not dying or anything, just circumstantial.)
A lot of drawing done, and a lot yet to do...I haven't updated in ages and I've got a lot of Gogo waiting in the wings. Yarrrgh.

I'm thinking if I ever win the lottery I will buy houses in different countries, traveling the world as the seasons change so I never have endure sweltering heat...
Well, uhm, enjoy your wedding reception? Haha no I hope you have fun.
Take care.

75 to 80 degrees (minimal humidity) is preferable to me).
I get my fill of the cold between December to March here in New York plus a hundred inches of snow to boot thanks to the lake.

Hydrate yourself plenty, grab ample clothing and slam some ZC on that car, and let's hope for the best! xD And the best part of a non-alcoholic wedding is being the one who remembers everything that happened!

But I admit, at the heart of it, it's very good to have you and Gogo back. The internet was deprived of sudden, twisty punchlines and bizarre feats of mitosis without you, and I hope that, though your plate is full, it is nonetheless enjoyable.
Oh - try and mix sugar, sleep deprivation and the headache tablet you mistook for a vitamin that morning. I find it has nearly the same effect as alcohol after a while.
(Free time is that mystical beast that eludes all freelancers. When I manage to catch it and nail its hide to my wall, there will be an updated gogo drawing. Oh yes.)
