not really much time to work on Bomango stuff at the moment, but i snuck in some time to color a panel from a comic i'd sketched a little bit during lunch. It's something, anyway!
The comic itself is a juxtaposition of Gogo and Didi seperately telling the reader the same story about an incident that took place while at the mall, each passing judgment on the other while instructing the reader in their own core philosophies. It's an incredibly wordy comic that functions more as a deep character exercise than anything else, i hope i can find time here and there to finish.
I just liked this panel in particular, because Gogo's so adamantly talking about her Darwinian form of social relations. (I also like this hairstyle, hehe)
I don't know how I missed this one, but I like it. Her ecpression is fairly different from her usual ones, kinda naggy looking but knowing Gogo she's serious and that's a bit worrisome. Gogo serious is scary serious.
(Though the idea of this being her form of a pick-up line, or more accurately a declaration of her intent, is perfectly plausible.)
I've noticed that as you've drawn Gogo, she's gotten taller than Didi and certainly brawnier than her earlier appearances; which I just LOVE. Y'know? (then again, given her weird biology, maybe she just alters her height and muscles on her mood or whatnot? There's a few posts that might support that conclusion.) There's things like that and, more and more, Gogo seems a lot like a living incarnation of rough woman-ness.
Also, her hair. I love the tendrils, but that hair...is AWESOME. The shading...the shape of it...it looks so SMOOTH and SOFT. I kinda wanna run my hand through it. (I'd probably lose my hand. There are many perils to empirical science.)
This is some serious blasphemy! She looks more... intellectual. More like: This is my opinion and here is several, cleverly wordy reasons why. And that's Didi's area. Still love it though.
thanks
