another after-hours Bomango sketch brought to completion ^^;

The characters of Andy and Gogo have tended to have an obvious gap between them, most notably the fact that Gogo's considerably older (and decidedly larger) than Andy, but if those differences were erased, what would change? Is there a relationship in spite of the previous obstacles, or was it because of them? Whose dream is this? WHY AM I ASKING SUCH QUESTIONS?!

faux-deep musings aside, this sort of "My Fictitious Life That Isn't" stuff is something i want to explore along the way in the story. "Equalizing" the characters (to borrow a phrase, hehe) would facilitate a lot of things, but life's never that easy.

note: i decided to add dialogue, since i felt it was a little more characteristic, but the original silent image was inspired by a Yoko Kanno track i accidentally discovered: [link] It's really quite pretty.

Ambiguity vs. Absolution is gonna be the hardest thing about rendering a complete story :S

I hear ya.
I've been trying to make my own story for quite some time now, problem is however that I'm never really quite happy about the beginning.
The thing about this story of your is that it could very well start with the first meeting of the main characters. It's a little cliche in a manga kind of way, but it'd probably work. You know, the set-up for the situation.
Then again one could start with a situation in which the characters are already aquianted with one another but meets a character who like us is unfamiliar with them.
The possibilities are endless, and that's the problem.

These questions need answers! We must go deeper! But all Inception jokes aside, when I saw this thumbnail I couldn't help but wonder if Gogo was holding Andy up; but I think it's rather interesting to see them brought to similar planes with each other
