i'd spotted a few of an apparent zillion meme iterations of this, 「にょろーん☆ちゅるやさん」 Churuya-san, and won't claim to know overmuch about it or its heritage but was highly amused...as with most things of an ephemeral nature, i'm a few years late to the party.

the thought of a super-simplified Gogo seemed fun to me, especially since the bulk of this stuff seems centered on taking a naively optimistic little person and either crushing their hopes and dreams outright or indifferently looking the other way. Here a young, innocent Gogo gains the power of speech, to no one's amazement or interest.

i've overexplained a very simple idea. Was just fun to draw it.
