Attend the Tale of Sweeney Todd
He served a dark and a hungry god!

*cough* well the source material for this should be readily apparent...the dialogue is sung to the tune of "A Little Priest" from the Sweeney Todd musical. I had a lovely time humming it to myself all the live-long day. even when i don't want to anymore. but i usually do so it's okay.

I drew panel 7 awhile ago after Hector's evening encounter with Gogo as sort of a nightmare image and the rest of the comic sort of spun out from there...it's just such a catchy song! [link]

of course, it's all just a nightmare for Hector, who apparently dreams in musical form. it has to be a nightmare, since Gogo and Didi would never ever ever torment him in such a way.

anyway...i wanted to do a send-up that was simultaneously a fanart, an homage, and something that still fit the characters. I think the Ms. Lovett angle is pretty true to Didi and Gogo makes a horrific enough Sweeney.

overall, yeah, just me being weird and silly. since i suck at animating and don't have time for it (for now, anyway) i'll have to make do with as much music and dancing as can be expressed in this format

and Hector will have to make do with being an eternal punching bag.
