To Be Kind

a note about this comic: I drew this before Valentine's Day, but for one reason or another never finished coloring it or expanding upon what happens. Regardless, i think it works decently as it is and i thought i'd share it.

This one's a little different tone for "Bomango" so i'm not sure how it'll go over. I've personally felt the same way as Andy lots of times, but it wasn't until I became an adult that I really felt regret over being an ass to people by omission of action or compassion. Good intentions have a way of feeling less "good" when you don't actually put yourself on the line, even if it's nothing really world-shattering.

It's weird how these sorts of things feel more life-or-death when in school. Andy might be a good kid, but he's still wired to worry about what people think, and visibly reaching out to someone who's the school whipping post might be noble, but for some reason it's really hard to do.

Of course, Didi sees no such distinctions, so the solution is simple to her. (And anyway, Andy's friendship with Gogo should really have worn away his "worrying what people think" stigma by now, don't you think?)

so yeah...kind of unfinished, kind of different, but there it is.
