Cartoon version, anyone? youtu.be/UiiB3CNOobQ
"Trouble is coming...
it's just the high cost of loving..."
It's another hot summer, and that means a big ol' slice of cheesecake is coming your way. (or a generous serving of HAMS, if you prefer)
This strip features a few rarer characters, including Andy's mom (panel 1), Hector's mom (panel 6), and Andy's dad (panel 3-4), who i don't believe i've drawn for the gallery yet. And of course, the regulars, Didi, Gogo, Pablo (who's been a little absent lately) and the "Girls Out.Rage.Ous", who typically go around a bit more covered.
It's also been awhile since I've done the "Andy as Narrator" thing (that I can recall, anyway). The poor kid tries to maintain a high-minded perspective on things, but there comes a time (adolescence is such a bitch) when against all better judgment, you're forced to admit: "Wow. I...LIKE THOSE THINGS."
Perfectly natural, of course. But as the kid says, still confusing. And it can really throw a monkey wrench in the gears of a friendship, which is why i think it's a fun topic to explore.
Anyway, savor the awkwardness.

Can someone tell me, maybe the author(?), how old the characters like Gogo and Andy are because I heard there is an age gap between those two and I am curious to know HOW far it stretches.
