D-G hairstyles ref sheet

just one of the reference sheets i've knocked together for the Bomango project. They're not terribly exciting but i might post a few more of these.

Gogo's hair looks very heavy and wet...or maybe just oily and greasy. Curl-proof, at any rate. As for Didi, I've finally gotten her "normal" hairdo looking solid (to me, anyway), but i'm also partial to her bald/short-haired look.

A lot of cartoon/comic characters are defined by their specific hairstyle, which i think sometimes can be a little limiting. Similar to clothing/outfits, i think it should be something that's more fluid and changing, and that's something i want to practice going forward with the book on a visual level.
