Might be an odd observation, but it's surprising when making a finished composition of an unclothed character to notice how often I use clothes as a "cheat" for hurrying through a sketch. ("Ahh, i'll just throw a wrinkle or a fold in there, it'll be fine).
Anyhow, i hope this comes off as "tasteful", which is my intention. Hey, if Didi looks comfortable, it's got to be all good.
I also like drawing Gogo's particular brand of jewelry. Dragons forever, babe.

To be honest my first impression of this was shock; as I recall, your journal response to Gogo porn [link] wasn't very approving.
What made you take on this kind of commission?
I judge each commission based on my comfort level, and nothing about this seemed particularly lewd or lecherous (again, personal opinions may vary, but this piece hardly features extreme content as far as my own opinion goes), so I agreed to it. If someone had requested full frontal nudity in a pose that looked torn from the centerfold of a third-rate trucker magazine, i would not have agreed.
In my journal, my concern centers more around the realization that my stuff is now out there, and can be fiddled with or reinterpreted at the whim of people I have no control over. It's uncomfortable to me that it would/could be used in a hardcore pornographic nature, but at the same time I'm not a tight-ass about it
Again, it's all to taste, and I won't begrudge you your own take on it.
