commissioned piece for :iconbrazerancor: who requested this EONS ago, but i did it! I love Evangelion, and it's when you draw something you love that you realize...very talented and creative people made this stuff and i feel like a blundering novice!

*ahem*

This commission requested Didi and Andy as Gendo and Shinji Ikari (with the option of Gogo as Eva Unit 01, which, durr, of course I did). It was pretty fun drawing Didi looking severe with Gendo-glasses...as for Andy, well...a sullen and uncertain kid caught between epic larger forces isn't exactly a stretch.

I tried to be as faithful as I could to the source material, except that I modified Unit 01 a little to accommodate a few Gogo features (particularly her hair tendrils, which here appear as if they could even be weaponized appendages).

The thing about this drawing, is that the already presented future-canon of Vanheist's Bomanjo comic fits this exact scenario to a fucking 'T'.
