I'm pretty liberal with my self portraits....but if we believe in ourselves as artists, there is only a thin veil between us and who we are as in our art, as our art, being our art....


also, Chicago is a fun place but a roit hooer to get to.

Hahhahaa...good picture!!! I've been to Chicago--I remember blowing bubbles in a traffic jam there--we were on a highway west of the big lake...I think we almost caused an accident, or two, as it seemed people there had never seen bubbles on the highway before. (grin) heh heh heh...I enjoyed Chicago. A long ways from home...but I enjoyed it. People were very kind to us there. By the way, your portrait is very good.

aww chee thanks...

maybe the reason i like chicago is that the only occasion i ever have to go there is for something extracurricular and fun, so it has that sort of tangential importance to me....and they have great pizza there too...

(grin) Yes, they DO have great pizza--almost as good as New York Pizza. We once got lost in Chicago--during Rush hour--it was a hairy situation--because if we ran out of gas we would have stopped up the entire town. We finally did find one station downtown in the nick of time! It seemed like there aren't any shoulders on the freeways to pull over onto!!! EEEeeeeeeek! But all in all, I'm with you, it's good place to visit.
